Our IELTS preparation course is a focused 3-week programme in Dubai and Ras Al Khaimah for anyone who needs a specific IELTS band score for study, work or migration. It covers all four skills (Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking) with a strong focus on exam technique, timed practice and personalised feedback, and includes three full mock exams so you know exactly where you stand before test day.
IELTS course in Dubai (JLT)
Classes run at our Dubai campus in Jumeirah Lakes Towers, close to Sobha Realty Metro Station on the Red Line. Evening sessions on Monday, Wednesday and Friday plus a Saturday practice session mean you can prepare for IELTS while you keep working.
IELTS classes in Ras Al Khaimah
The same course, schedule and price are available at our Ras Al Khaimah campus in Al Hamra (Building 2, RAKEZ Amenity Centre), so you don't need to travel to Dubai for structured IELTS preparation.
Academic or General Training IELTS?
Academic IELTS is usually required for university admission and for professional registration, for example in healthcare. General Training IELTS is usually required for migration to countries such as the UK, Canada, Australia and New Zealand, and for some jobs. Listening and Speaking are the same in both versions; Reading and Writing Task 1 differ. The course prepares you for either, and your teacher adapts the Reading and Writing practice to the version you are taking.

Booking your IELTS test

Our teaching approach
IELTS preparation at Speak is exam-focused from day one. Our teachers know the IELTS marking criteria in detail and give targeted, actionable feedback on every practice task rather than generic corrections. Three full mock exams across the three weeks give you a clear picture of your current band score and where to focus your remaining effort.
The fixed weekly schedule (evening sessions on Monday, Wednesday and Friday plus Saturday practice) builds the routine and discipline that IELTS success requires, with regular speaking practice and written feedback throughout the course.
