Private one-to-one lessons at Speak are built entirely around you. Before your first session, your teacher discusses your goals, your current level, and your specific challenges — then designs every lesson to address exactly those things. There are no fixed textbooks and no fixed syllabus; the teacher selects materials and tasks based on what will help you most, at the pace that works for you.
Lessons are available in-person at the Dubai or RAK campus, at your home or office (additional travel fee may apply depending on location), or online via Microsoft Teams or Google Meet. Scheduling is fully flexible — you book lessons when they suit you. If you need to reschedule, give 24 hours' notice and your lesson is moved at no charge.

Our teaching approach
Every private lesson is different, because every student is different. Teachers are experienced in adapting their style, materials, and pace to the individual in front of them — whether that means a highly structured lesson plan, a more conversational approach, or something in between. There are no set textbooks: the teacher selects resources — authentic articles, business materials, exam practice, or custom exercises — based on your specific needs.
Unlike group courses, private lessons can be rescheduled if you need to travel or if a public holiday falls on your lesson day — give 24 hours' notice and your lesson is moved at no charge rather than lost. Missed lessons due to public holidays are automatically rescheduled. This makes private lessons the most flexible option for professionals with busy, unpredictable schedules.
