Speak English Institute's Summer Camp is designed for children and teenagers aged 8 to 17 who want to make rapid progress in English while experiencing the best of Dubai. Mornings are spent in structured, communicative English lessons with CELTA-qualified teachers — covering speaking, listening, reading, writing, and vocabulary. Afternoons are a programme of Dubai's most exciting activities, where campers practise their English in real-world situations.
Campers are grouped by age and English level, with a maximum of 8 students per class to ensure every child gets individual attention and plenty of speaking practice. Rolling enrolment means families can join for as little as one week or stay for the whole summer. The camp runs from June through August at the Dubai (JLT) campus, with afternoon activities departing from the school.

Speaking & Conversation
Daily speaking activities, discussions, role plays, and presentations — structured to build real conversational confidence in a supportive small-group setting.
Vocabulary Expansion
Topic-based vocabulary building linked to the week's afternoon activities — so new language is immediately reinforced in real situations.
Listening & Comprehension
Audio activities, teacher explanations, and group discussions to develop listening skills across different accents and speeds.
Reading & Writing
Age-appropriate reading and short writing tasks that develop accuracy and confidence without feeling like a traditional lesson.
Grammar in Context
Core grammar taught through communicative tasks — not grammar drills — so learners absorb structure naturally as they use the language.
Afternoon Activities
Dubai Mall, Ski Dubai, Desert Safari, Marina Boat Tour, Atlantis Waterpark, and Museum of the Future — each activity includes an English speaking task.
Our teaching approach
Summer Camp lessons use a communicative, activity-based approach designed specifically for young learners. Every morning session links to that afternoon's activity — so if the group is visiting the Museum of the Future, the morning lesson covers relevant vocabulary, discussion questions, and a short presentation task. This creates an immediate, real-world connection between classroom learning and lived experience.
Classes are grouped by age (8–11, 12–14, 15–17) and English level, and capped at 8 students each. All teachers are native English speakers with CELTA qualifications and experience teaching young learners. Parents receive a weekly progress note covering what their child has studied, what has improved, and what to focus on next.
