English for School Success is designed for children aged 8 to 13 who are new to Dubai or new to English-medium schooling. The course builds the specific language skills children need to participate confidently in an international school environment — classroom vocabulary, subject-specific language, reading comprehension, writing, and presentations — not just conversational English.
The programme runs on a modular, rolling-enrolment basis across 12 independent modules, so children can join at any point without missing foundational content. Classes run twice a week on Monday and Wednesday afternoons at the Dubai campus. With a maximum of 5 students per class, every child receives individual attention and targeted feedback. Monthly written progress reports keep parents fully informed, and a full CEFR-style level assessment is carried out every 12 weeks.

Essential phrases and vocabulary for the school environment: understanding instructions, asking questions, contributing to class discussions, and communicating with teachers.
Core School Subjects
The English language used in Maths, Science, Geography, and History lessons — so children understand content, not just the language around it.
Reading & Comprehension
Build reading speed and comprehension strategies for school-level texts, assessment tasks, and international curriculum materials.
Writing & Presentations
Structure sentences, paragraphs, and short essays; practise presenting ideas clearly and confidently in front of a small group.
Listening & Following Instructions
Understand teacher explanations, recorded audio, and classroom conversations at the speed and register of a real international school.
Vocabulary Building
Topic-based vocabulary expansion aligned with international school curricula including IB, GEMS, and SABIS frameworks.
Our teaching approach
English for School Success uses a curriculum-aligned, activity-based approach. Every module is mapped to the language children actually encounter in school — not generic conversational English — so the transfer from classroom to school is immediate and practical. Lessons are age-appropriate, interactive, and built around the types of tasks children face in real school assessments.
With a maximum of 5 students per class, each child receives individual attention, regular feedback, and support tailored to their age, level, and learning style. Teachers write individual monthly progress reports for parents, covering what has been covered, what has improved, and what to focus on next. A full level assessment every 12 weeks tracks overall CEFR progress and informs module placement.
